Action

Proaftol is a combination of propolis, anestezinum and essential oils which carry a number of pharmacological properties.

Proaftol spray is highly effective in alleviating pain caused by ulcers and erosions of the mucosa in the mouth cavity and the throat. Proaftol quickly relieves pain, due to the anesthetic effect of the propolis, which is augmented by anestezinum.

Proaftol spray accelerates the regeneration of the damaged mucosa and restores its normal function. Because of the high concentration of propolis and essential oil of sage, Proaftol has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect.

Apimel products contain an optimal concentration of propolis extract, which has an atibacterial effect on 74 strains of staphylococci:

Proaftol does not disturb the natural flora of the mouth cavity and does not cause resistance in bacteria.
The essential oils contained in Proaftol give a pleasant smell and taste and remove the unpleasant odor of the mouth.

 

Indications

Canker sores, herpes simplex infections, stomatitis, alveolitis, erosions of any nature including AIDS, decubitus or x-ray ulcus.

Contraindications

Proaftol should not be used by individuals sensitive to its components. Hypersensitive reactions are local and alleviate when treatment is discontinued.
