Action
Proangi is a bio-complex composed of plants substances, directed towards throat infections and inflammations.
Proangi covers the damaged mucosa of the throat with a thin film, which has local anti-bacterial, anaesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect. The local effect of Proangi stops the progress of bacterial or viral infections towards the lower respiratory tract.
Apimel products contain an optimal concentration of propolis extract, which has an atibacterial effect on 74 strains of staphylococci:
| Macedonian propolis µg/ml | |
| Minimum inhibitory concentration against Staphylococcus aureus | 62.5 |
| Balsam (extract with 70% ethanol) | 55.0% |
| Total phenolics | 24.2% |
| Total flavones and flavonols | 8.0% |
| Total flavanones and dihydroflavonols | 4.9% |
The bacterial action of Proangi is directed towards 74 strains of 19 different pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacterial species (20 strains of Staphylococcus - including the strains resistant to methicillin, ampicillin, gentamicin, lincomycin, cloxacyllin),10 strains of Streptococcus,Enterococcus, Proteus and Myc.Tuberculosis. Proangi neutralizes the viruses Herpes simplex and A2 influenza, as well as all pathogenic strains of Candida.
The anti-inflammatory effect of Proangi is carried by the essential oils of sage and flavonoids of propolis, which strengthen the capillary wall and increase the binding ability of serum proteins (especially gamma globulin) with histamine, which consequently eliminates its inflammatory properties.
Proangi stimulates the immune response of the organism and also has anti-oxidant properties.
The esssential oils in proangi reopen the respiratory tract and relieve breathing; they reduce the pain in swallowing and remove the unpleasant odour in the mouth.
Proangi does not disturb the natural flora and does not cause resistance in bacteria.
Proangi decreases the toxicity of antibiotics and is therefore recommended as a supplementary natural remedy in the treatment of severe conditions of the upper respiratory tract.
Indications
Acute and chronic diseases of the throat, herpes simplex infections, canker sore, influenza and reconvalescent conditions of the upper respiratory pathways, inflammatory processes of the gums, painful erosions in the mouth including AIDS.
