Action

Progastal  is  a bio-complex composed of  plant  substances  with  anti-microbial  and  anti-inflammatory
properties.

It treats the gastric disorders which result from the disbalance of the secretion of the gastric juice versus the defensive mechanisms of the gastric mucosa. Progastal helps the organism in restoring this balance by decreasing the secretion of the hydrochloric acid (due to the pharmacodynamic action of the apigenin and diethyl ester of luteolin). On the other hand, Progastal creates a thin protective film over the mucosa, which increases its natural defensive function.

Progastal  reduces the cramps in the smooth musculature and relieves the  stomach pain (due to the action of quercetin and kenpherol, as well as the essential oil of mint). Progastal helps the regeneartion of the damaged  mucosa  by increasing the mitotic activity of fibrocytes.

The essential oils in Progastal have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and spasmolytic properties; they also  regulate  the gasses in the stomach.
Progastal eliminates the unpleasant odor in the mouth.
Progastal does not disturb the natural flora and does not cause resistance in bacteria.
Progastal has a bacteriostatic effect on Helicobacter pylori, which is a known cause of many gastric diseases.
Progastal decreases the toxicity of antibiotics and inhibits the appearance of Candida.
